How we use sources
We link to standards bodies, research groups, project documentation and suppliers where they provide relevant primary descriptions. A supplier is an appropriate source for describing its own offering, but its marketing is not independent confirmation of a comparative performance claim.
Standards are identified for their scope, not used as decorative endorsements. The project team must consult current editions, applicable national provisions and competent advisers before relying on a method or acceptance criterion.
What this publication does not do
We do not design buildings, provide structural calculations, certify systems, manage procurement or recommend a technology as suitable for a particular site. We are not affiliated with the research institutions, standards organisations or manufacturers cited unless expressly stated. Naming a project or product is not an endorsement.
Corrections and useful questions
If you identify an error, send the page address, the disputed wording and a source that clarifies it. Please distinguish a factual correction from a differing design preference. Do not send confidential plans, personal site details or commercially sensitive files.
